An Introduction to Hanko Flameless LED Candles

flameless candles

LED candles were first invented in the 2000s, with early versions featuring a series of tiny light-emitting diodes (LEDs) encased in a waxy casing. LED candles emerged in response to safety concerns and the growing demand for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly lighting alternatives. Over time, consumers have begun to embrace LED candles because of their ability to replicate the warm, flickering glow of traditional wax candles while eliminating fire hazards and requiring less frequent replacement. In 2017, we produced plastic LED flameless candles. We used plastic instead of wax shells to prevent safety hazards caused by long-term use. Now let’s take a closer look at the inner workings of these modern LED plastic candle wonders.

How do Hanko flameless candles work?

Hanko flameless simulation candles come in three different models, one is solar-powered, one is battery-powered, and one is USB. The circuit board moves the attached magnet to the base of the flame, creating realistic random flickering technology that makes flameless candles look like real candles. LED lights focus on the true flame of a smokeless candle, giving off a warm glow without burning. Battery life will vary depending on the type of battery powering the candle but can be extended to approximately 1,000 hours, allowing you to use the candle in situations where traditional candles are not safe to use. Pet- and child-friendly, you can use flameless candles indoors, and some can even be used outdoors without the risk of fire.
